Do We Need a Striker Or More Midfield Players? Transfer Wrap Up.

So it looks like our (reported) £9m signing (9 months ago) has LEFT the building! After the hype of this 19 year old wonderkid. WH have swapped him for a 23 year old defender. Sometimes I do wonder where WH are going with all this transfer malarky.

Quoted from the official site.

Ham have been busy in the transfer market this summer, signing the highly-regarded attack-minded Serie A players Luis Jimenez and Alessandro Diamanti from Internazionale and AS Livorno Calcio respectively. The club has also bought Herita Ilunga and Radoslav Kovac permanently after their successful loan deals last season and acquired the highly-rated trio Peter Kurucz, Fabio Daprela and Frank Nouble.

Kovac. What a waste of time and money! We have more midfielders than Zola has had hot dinners! In terms of strike force (remember? the part of the team that scores the goals?) we have Cant Control (Carlton Cole), Diamanti (unknown guy from a small italian team) AND Nouble (Young kid from Chelski). Oh! And Dean Ashton although a paper reported that he was retiring....

WHY dont we stop buying midfield players and perhaps sell 1/2 and buy a good striker. It seems as though all the teams around us are buying new strikers as backup. we NEED a 1st team striker!

I suppose we'll be playing 4-5-1 until the next transfer window then.
