My prediction last week didn't really turn out nice for Arsenal, but we can't real blame them after what happened right?
From that match I was reminded that no matter how skill the players in a club is, the ref is still the most important decision maker and once again it was proven in the Manchester United vs Arsenal match. It was a close and interesting game but the ref turn it into a bad game as they alway do because we fans only blame them and never really praise them? Did any barcelona fans praise the guy who got them to the finals last year? did any MU fans praise the guy who 'considerably' got them the win over Arsenal.... there are many other example which I don't care to talk about now.
So my prediction for this week.
Away is never a good thing for Chelsea as they went into total defense last year during the BAR vs CHE match.
But this season, Ancelloti seems ready to name himself ghost buster after leading Chelsea on a winning run. Is he ready to bust that ghost just yet?
Chelsea is having a fine start after defeating Burnley 3 - 0 that had just stolen 3 points from former Champion and Ancelloti begin to receive pressure after seeing how Manchester United fall to the freshly promoted Burnley.
On the other hand, Stoke City isn't having a bad time either, having 7/12 points isn't bad for them. Winning two matches defeating Sunderland and Burnley and drew with Birmingham but receiving a bad blow from Liverpool.
The both teams wants this 3 points bad enough to kill each other, Chelsea certainly wants to continue at the top of the table and Stoke City certainly won;t want to lose too many points at the beginning of the season.
but i would say, Stoke don't have the guns to defeat Chelsea, a draw at most.
I predict Chelsea will get their deserved 3 points and for the scores, maybe 1 - 3.
Burnley falls hard to Chelsea and Stoke City but crush form Champion Manchester United's second game and defeat Everton 2008 FA Cup finals runner up to take 6 out of 12 from 4 games not a good start but certainly not bad for a freshly promoted team.
Liverpool, have a GC of 7 while only a GS of 9 so Reina had better get his butt up and stop those shots or Liverpool is going to be Burnley's second 'Silverware' of the season after they defeat Manchester United 1-0. the striking power of Liverpool is still high flying but the keeper and defenders have to get better than this if they want to win the title this year.
Burnley will put up a good fight but i would say Liverpool will surely take the point and win this match. Score should be around 3 - 1.
Arsenal did a good job at their last match but lost it. And all of us know it wasn't a fair match, anyone who said it is should just go to hell. But the match is over and there is nothing much we can do and Arsenal's Manager should just try to enjoy the official's meaningless apology.
Manchester City having win every single match just like Arsenal until Arsenal lost to United after some bad calls, but I would say this is an interesting match and Arsenal get ready to defeat Manchester United's shadow.
I can not think who will win this match so the prediction is more of a hopeful than logical. I would surely how Arsenal get their butts back into the title race by defeating Manchester City this week. 1 - 2.
Tottenham like Chelsea sealed 12 points in 4 matches and would certainly love and will be eager to continue their winning run by crushing Manchester United at home this week. They defeated Liverpool to tell Alex that it isn't going to be an easy match for him to play and clearly show that they are in it this season. I just hope they don't go crushing down like Hull City last season.
Manchester United is having a rather usual start, barely winning their first game then lost to freshly promoted Burnley then go on to crush Wigan which didn't play very well that day and then defeated Arsenal, barely also or should i say Arsenla defeated Arsenal after an OG and so weird calls from refs. But they did it, 9 out of 12 and i would say not bad for a start.
This is another interesting match that would be played this week, very hard to predict too.
I have no hopefuls but will make a wild guess, 2 - 1. Tottenham wins the game.
The rest of the matches aren't big matches and i think most people won't care [besides their fans] but i will predict too anyway, [after all, i am very free right now, stupid summer holidays]
Balckburn vs Wolves [Home Win] (3 - 1)
Portsmouth vs Bolton [Draw] (2 - 2)
Sunderland vs Hull City [Away Win] (1 - 2)
Wigan vs West Ham [Away Win] (0 - 2)
Birmingham vs Aston Villa [Away WIn] (0 - 3)
Fulham vs Everton [Home Win] (2 - 1)
Once again I would like to remind you guys, i predict for fun and i am no professional.
Thanks for reading.
