My 10 Fantay Sleepers For 2009
I think this season is going to be a big season for a lot of young talent, but maybe even some older guys might be on this list. I am gonna list 10 guys(with my stats projections) that i think will have an impact on your fantasy team this year, or maybe even guys that you should pick up earlier that what they go for. The results could lead you to a Fantasy championship.
10. Chad Ochocinco:
With Palmer on the sideline last season Chads numbers dropped to lows that chad doesnt even like. If Carson stays healthy i see a big season from Ochocinco. Im gonna say 102 rec 1200 yds 8 tds
9. Sidney Rice:
Brett Farve is all that needs to be said. Farve will spread the ball to the Vikings three recievers. Dont be surpirsed to see another one on this list. Rice will have career highs with 85 rec 980 yds 7tds
Arizona hasnt had great success running th ball recently but with a running back that has fresh legs they should get som stability from that postion. 200 carries, 850 yds, 8tds.
7. Daunte Culpepper:
He will be the Lions starter and he will play the whole season unless injured. That is my opinion and mine only. 3250 yds passing 21 tds total and 240 yds rushing.
6. Micheal Vick:
After two years out of the league the most dynamic football player ever is back. he wont be the starter but he will have a big impact on fantasy leagues. 1100 yds passing, 400 yds rushing, 16 total tds
5. Percy Harvin:
This is a unique player. He can be a receiver or he can be a running back, he could even line up in the shotgun. Wildcat formation for the Vikings can make defensive coordinators have headaches all game long. 51 rec 700 yds 56 rushes 350 rush yards, 9 tds total(one on kickoff return).
4. Eddie Royal:
Brandon Marshall is ruining his career. Eddie royal will be the #1 receiver in Denver. 100 rec 1300 yds 10 tds
3. Vernon Davis:
This spot would have gone to Crabtree, but its not. 80 rec 1070 yds 6 tds
2. Visante Shaincoe:
Maybe I'm bias but being the Vikings have Brett Favre im gonna say the tight end has a big season. 75 rec 900 yds 8 tds
1. Brett Favre:
Why cant he be a sleeper? He wasnt playing 2 weeks ago so why cant he be a sleeper? He has a young team with good receivers and the best running back in all of football, not to mention the best run stopping team in the NFL. Brett Favre has one of his best years ever. 4250 yds 32 tds total and a Superbowl ring
