If you haven't heard Randy was was out pointed by Nogueira, but even in defeat this man has shown the heart of a warrior. When coming into this fight I didn't believe Couture could get the win, but only because Nogueira has more ground tools and is very crafty.
Nog is a very durable fighter and in his last fight with Mir he just wasn't the Nog that we have seen in the past. Not taking anything from Randy he is still in the game.
That being said Randy just sealed a new six fight deal with the UFC. Yeah, a new six fight 28 month contract. They see this man is still a force to be reckoned with and his future is secure with the UFC.
Some would try to guess who Randy should fight next but, I see several match ups that would be exciting. My first pick would be Randy and Dan Henderson. I see this as a huge fight for both with styles that are very close to each other. The game plan for both would be nice to see and the war would be fun to watch.
At the end of the day Randy is still a great fighter and when people have counted him out in so many fights he is still very a force in the UFC and is fun to watch.
