Andrey Arshavin has admitted that he is not back to optimum condition, claiming that he can only play for 20 minutes at a time.

"I'm still heavy and Arsene [Wenger] keeps telling me that," Arshavin is quoted in The Sun as saying.

"I don't want to learn how to come into the game from the bench but, at the moment, it's right to play just 20 minutes.

"It's not long enough to lose my freshness."

The pint-sized Russian then discussed the teams that hope to break into the elite top four this season.

"Naturally the 'Big Four' are still the favourites," he said.

"But Tottenham [Hotspur] look very good, too. And in my opinion, [Manchester] City will also be involved in the title race."
