Tom Glavine was dominant against his former team in the first game of the double-header.

The Braves won the first game with a score of 6-1.

Glavine retired 17 straight Mets at one point over six terrific innings.

Mark Teixeira had his first three-hit game of 2008, while Brian McCann had a homer and three RBI.

In the second game, Jorge Campillo took the mound for just his second career start. Campillo looked like a veteran, going through the Mets lineup virtually flawless through six scoreless frames. Not to mention, after waiting two hours for a rain delay to pass in Atlanta.

Kotsay's two-run home run in the bottom of the eighth inning helped the Braves win 6-2.

The Braves are now 24-21 and tied with the Philadelphia Phillies.

They also narrowed the gap in the National League East to just a game and a half back behind the first place Florida Marlins.
