Thursday's Treats

College football starts in ONE week! Very excited, yet not looking forward to the weekly diarrhea of BCS talk.

Michael Vick debuts tonight. Anybody else want him to get blind-sided, hopefully paralyzing from the waist down? I do.

"Just the brief amount of time I was able to spend with him, he's impressive. He knows a lot about offenses, he knows a lot about getting guys open and scoring points, as everyone's seen when he was in New England, so I think they're going to be fine."- Jay Cutler on Denver HC Josh McDaniels

Really Jay? If McDaniels is so impressive, why aren't you still in Denver? Just goes to show, college educated doesn't always = smart. What a dumbass!

And the "sources" who are saying there is a "schism" in the Vikings locker room don't know what the hell they're talking about. Every Viking I interviewed, last Tuesday, said the excitement level on the team [from Favre being there] was off the charts. This backs me up, too. You people who are that hard up for a story need to stop making them up. And yes, that means you, Adam Schefter. Quit being a bitch.

Check out the pic of Rick Pitino on FoxSports! Jesus! He looks like he's 100 years old. All this fornicating [on the side] must really be catching up with him!

Tiger's back at it- 2 weeks after royally blowing his chance [at the PGA Championship] to 1. Move closer to Jack and 2. Secure POY. Do you think he still got laid after losing to Y.A. Yang? I mean, do you think she still even wants to be with him? (Thick sarcasm here)
BTW, he's 6 shots off the lead after 16 holes... Could his implosion at the PGA be his undoing...?

Keeping with the funny/scary photo theme- check out this one of Billy Gillispie (right). This being taken after his 2nd DUI... So Billy, how are things? The downward spiral is building speed...

Poor Big Ben. Poor Big Ben. You know, sometimes when I get drunk, I make poor decisions. Thankfully, or luckily, not sure which, I haven't had the misfortune of meeting up with a psycho. Poor Big Ben.

Just signed up for the San Diego Rock 'n' Roll Marathon June 6th, 2010. Yeah Baby!! Who's coming with me?! Nobody? Hello? Bastards.

Be sure to tune in this week to "The Komencentz Show." Tom Hapka, author of Letters to Brett Favre, will be joining me on the show. Also, Todd Downing, Quality Control coach with the Lions, should be calling in. Sunday morning the 30th, @10am.

Tune in or get tuned out- it's just Komencentz
