Today the New York Jets named Rookie QB Mark Sanchez starter first Jets QB to do so since 1977. He really isn't filling big shoe's from the former Jets QB, he's really filling in the shoe's of a position that really hasn't been filled in quite a while.

Blair Thomas another Rookie the New York Jets had high dollars riding on was a bust with nothing but injuries the Jets inherited and Sanchez being another player the Jets have high hope's for and Jets fan's can't help but hope that Sanchez is not gonna turn out to be another rookie ''BUST"

Rex Ryan did inherit Kellen Clemens and Sanchez is "HIS GUY" but I think that was not a smart call naming his starter after a Monday night game where both QB'S did not have good outing's. They were both rattled by the Ravens Defense and both threw for a pick 6.

For the second year in a row Kellen Clemens going into the off-season could not help but think he finally will get his chance to start for the Jets and yet again his dreams were crushed, maybe if Clemens played extra hard and put all he can into he would be the starter and put Sanchez on the back burner but he didn't

I understand Ryan wants to have confidence in the QB's Going into next week's preseason match-up against in-town rival New York Giants but Ryan should have dragged it out to the bitter end and make those guy's shed nothing but "BLOOD, SWEAT, TEARS" and then you can ask the real Jets QB to please stand up!
