How many times have you heard the saying "Oh.... he's one of the best, but is he worth all the trouble?" This statement causes many to assume the first part and ponder the second part.
I believe T.O.'s lack of grey matter and his idiotic behavior has a tendency to hide the facts about his on-field performance. Let's look at a couple things that, when factored in, tell us that maybe he really isn't that good on the field. Ask yourself where TO ranks among active receivers..........now read on!
Dropped balls .... If you factor in the balls he drops, does he maintain that ranking?
Lack of team play ... If you factor in that TO seldom helps to sell a play that is not coming his way (in today's football, a split second of hesitation by a defense can make a huge difference) does he maintain that ranking?
Selfishness ..... If you factor in that he disrupts the huddle with his constant "throw me the ball" abuse of the QB without any concern for what is best for the team at that point, does he maintain that ranking?
Distraction ..... If you factor in the overall distraction he brings on to the field by his questioning of coaches and players, does he maintain that ranking?
After looking at all of these things, does he maintain that ranking?
