Before you read this, note that this was made 2 years ago, it doesn't reflect my thoughts as of now but I thought I would post it.
I think this would be the team(NBA first team):
Point Guard-Magic Johnson
Shooting Guard-Micheal Jordan
Small Forward-Larry Bird
Power Forward-Tim Duncan
This would be the second:
Point Guard-Oscar Robertson
Shooting Guard-Jerry West
Small Forward-Julies Erving
Power Forward-Charles Barkley
This would be the third:
Point Guard-John Stockton
Shooting Guard- Clyde Drexler
Small Forward-John Havlicek
Power Forward-Karl Malone
Reasoning for First team:
I have Magic Johnson at the first point guard because well it is obvious he is probably one of the greatest players to ever play the game and defiantly the greatest point guard to play the game. I mean at 6'9 being able to handle the ball and pass like a 6'0 foot guard. That is amazing.
I have Micheal Jordan at the Shooting guard position because well do I really need to explain? I mean he is the 2nd best if not the best player to ever play the game so it would be unorthodox if I didn't include him. If that isn't proof enough how about this: (Honors curtsy of Nba.com)Honors: Six-time NBA champion (1991-93, 1996-98); NBA MVP (1988, '91, '92, '96, '98); 10-time All-NBA First Team (1987-93, 1996-98); All-NBA Second Team (1985); Defensive Player of the Year (1988); Nine-time All-Defensive First Team (1988-93, 1996-98); Rookie of the Year (1985); 14-time All-Star; All-Star MVP (1988, '96, '98); One of 50 Greatest Players in NBA History (1996); Two-time Olympic gold medalist (1984, '92). That is why I have Micheal Jordan at the best Shooting Guard.
I have Larry "Legend" Bird at the best small forward because he was the leader of the renewed Boston Celtics in the 80's and was one of the best shooting I have ever seen. He was also the leader of the Big Three in the 80's (leader of the Big Three in Boston).Well that is why I have Larry Bird at the Small Forward.
I have Tim Duncan as the best Power forward because well, I thought that Charles Barkley was the best before I heard him say that Tim Duncan is the best power forward to play the game. I wasn't convinced and then I thought that Karl Malone was the best which was also wrong because he had never won a ring. The only one left was Tim Duncan and "ding ding ding" that is right.
I have Wilt "the stilt" Chamberlain as the best Center because well he is also arguably the best player ever to play the game and defiantly the the best player of his era. As if a 100 points and 55 rebounds didn't say so how about 2 rings and a couple of MVP's.
Here is my reasons for the second team:
i have Oscar Robertson as the second best point guard ever to play the game because well let's face him and Wilt Chamberlain have had the greatest stats I have ever seen. You don't balieve me? here have a look:

I have Jerry West as the second best player because well who better than Jerry West other than Micheal Jordan at the Shooting Guard? I know. NO-ONE. He was part of the amazing Los Angeles Lakers that had really evolved basketball.
I have Julies Erving as the second best small forward because well the greatest player in the ABA might have something to do with it.He is also one of the best dunker ever not that that has anything to do with being great.
I have Charles Barkley as the second best Power Forward to ever play the game because well Tim is supposedly the best and the only player that you could say is the second best is Sir Charles and I say this because every team he went to he turned the team from bad to good. Too bad he never won a ring.
I have Kareem Abdul-Jabbar as the second best Center because well he is the Third best player ever to play the game. I mean if most points ever in the history of basketball all throughout his career which I might add is legendary. I mean the most MVP's ever and most point as i previously mentioned.
This is my reasoning for the third team:
I have John Stockon as the third best point guard because well there is no need to explain. It is self explanatory. If you want an explanation here it is: John Stockton has made the all-star team 10 times and has been NBA first team twice which is amazing or good.
I have Clyde Drexler as the third best Shooting guard because well lets let the honors talk:Honors: Elected to Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame (2004); NBA champion (1995); All-NBA First Team (1992); All-NBA Second Team (1988, '91); All-NBA Third Team (1990, '95); NBA All-Star (1986, '88, '89, 90, '91, '92, '93, '94, '96, '97); One of the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History (1996); Olympic gold medalist (1992).
I have John Havlicek as the third best because well he was part of that amazing Boston team that had won 9 rings in a row. John Havlicek was considered the side kick to Bill Russel in that team which is still amazing.
I have Karl Malone as the third best power forward because well if John Stockton is in here Karl also has to be. John and Karl are probably the second best duo ever just behind Micheal Jordan and Scottie Pippen which once again is amazing.
Bill Russel is the third best Center because well for starters he is the best defender ever to play the game. So what if you think he is one dimensional. He is still an amazing player. I would get ripped on alot if I had the guts to say he shouldn't be on here.
Well that's why I think these players are where they are.
