Does The NFC Have a Team In The Top Five Of The NFL?

Although the Super Bowl has become a joke, it's really a shame we can't see the two best teams play for the title!
For several years now the AFC has housed all the really good teams in the NFL and in the late 80's and early 90's the NFC had all the great teams. It's a shame to see the second, third, fourth, fifth best teams not get a chance.
As of right now there are probably five teams in the AFC which are notably better than any team the NFC can field, yet only one can go to the big dance!
What NFC team could beat any of these above teams in a best of seven series?
