Portland Trail Blazers star Arron Afflalo suffered a shoulder injury on April 9 and will return to the floor for the first time for Game 3 against the Grizzlies on Saturday.

Continue below for updates.

Afflalo Will Start in Game 3

Saturday, April 25

Afflalo will return to the Blazers starting lineup on Saturday, per Grizzlies play-by-play announcer Pete Pranica. He's been out since April 10.

On April 9, Afflalo exited the game against the Golden State Warriors in the second half and was escorted back to the locker room.

He entered the game averaging 13.3 points and 3.2 rebounds per contest. Since joining the Blazers, he was playing 30.1 minutes per night, scoring 10.6 points on 41.4 percent shooting.

Portland sorely needs Afflalo to provide a formidable backcourt presence as the attempt to right the ship in their playoff series against the Memphis Grizzlies.
