Can Someone PLEASE Think of the Tag Team Division?

I remember growing up in the late 80s; tag team matches were so much entertaining. There were three cream of the crop teams in the end of the 80s: The Hart Foundation, Demolition, and Legion of Doom.

In the 90s, New Age Outlaws backed by heavily marketed DX cartel helped them have a successful career. In the 00’s The Hardys and Edge and Christian tag team raised the bar to the next level.

Can someone please explain to me what the situation is with the tag team’s aspect of the WWE? They almost massacred the Intercontinental title few years ago, and now they are just abusing the tag team titles.

The prestige titles in the WWE are losing their credibility when they are being changed hands several times a year. Don’t believe me? In 1999, the WWE tag title changed hands 15 times. So, every month you would expect the titles to change hands.

The Hart Foundation: Bret Hart
The Rockers: Shawn Michaels

To a lesser extent:
Smoking Guns: Billy Gunn
The British Bulldogs: Davey Boy Smith

Finest Cases Scenarios:
The Hardy Boys
Edge and Christian team
Both teammates had successful careers.

Worst Case Scenarios:
The Dudleys
Both teammates cannot survive without each other.

Unusual Cases:
The New Age Outlaws: Two scrubs, backed by heavily marketed DX franchise, helped their careers.
