The Dallas Cowboys, I believe, added something to their team that will help them more than any player that was signed or traded to a team this off-season.
Cowboys Stadium, which opened for it's first game last night, located in Arlington, Texas, is by far the most spectacular facility I have ever seen.
That scoreboard and Jumbotron, which ways 1.2 million pounds, is the largest in the world. The seating capacity is well over 105,000, a lot more then Texas Stadium. Last night was by far the loudest I have ever heard a Cowboys home game, and it was a pre-season game.
Cowboys fans, we just bought ourselves at least six wins this season automatically. No way do we lose more then two games in that stadium last year, just because of how loud our crowd will be.
An opposing team can't run their offense if they can't hear anything. We will be sure to create a lot of turnovers, false starts, confusion, and frustration in that stadium. I can't wait, this is going to be fun to watch.
One pre-season game and I already can tell we are going to play with a lot of confidence with our home fans behind us. Our offense moved well and controlled the clock, which is our key to success in the NFC East.
Tony Romo, heck even Jon Kitna, played with poise and confidence. Felix Jones had a huge play before the half ended that led to a touchdown. Marion Barber ran over defenders in his path. And yes haters, Roy Williams is the real deal, and is going to have a good year.
The only two teams I believe that have a shot of beating us in our new stadium are the Atlanta Falcons (with that explosive offence of Matt Ryan, Tony Gonzales, Roddy White) or the Carolina Panthers, with that scary running game of Jonathan Stewart and DeAngelo Williams.
We will sweep the NFC East in that new stadium, guaranteed. Eli Manning won't know what to do when he can't hear half the game, and the other half is on his back after DeMarcus Ware just put him down.
I can't wait for this season Cowboys fans; all we have to do is win three or four games on the road, and we'll have a chance to be in the post-season and try to get that thirteen year drought of not winning a playoff game off of our backs. However, I believe this is our year, make it happen. Go Cowboys!
