Alphonso Smith led Wake Forests defense to the most takeaways in the ACC the past couple of years. He had 21 interceptions in his career and only 9 people in NCAA Football history have had more and the ACC is strong conference so that makes it more impressive. He along with Riley Skinner led Wake to 3 bowls including the Orange and an ACC Championship. Honestly, I think he is the best Cornerback in this rookie class even though he was drafted after Malcolm Jenkins and Vontae Davis. He was only picked in the 2nd round because of his size. If he was 6 feet tall, he would of definitely been a top 10 pick, maybe even a top 5. And, because he got drafted to the Broncos, he has the best cornerback in the league, Champ Bailey, helping him out so he will get much better and will adapt to the NFL very quickly. He is going to help the Broncos defense very quickly and also their special teams.
