Knockouts Tag Team Championships Analysis

TNA just announced the creation of the Knockouts Tag Team Championship titles. This is a major step in the right direction, not only for TNA but for women's wrestling in general.

I've given this some more thought and have to say I'm very excited by the idea. So many of us have complained about meaningless and pointless tag team matches, especially when it comes to the women. Now TNA has stepped up to the plate and made random tag matches a bit more relevant.

It's obivous that not every Knockout is ready for the big spotlight of becoming a contender for the Knockouts Title. Now, a good chunk of them have something to fight for that's more important and has more meaning than another women's title.

I'm excited and intrigued by the variety of tag teams that could come out of this. It seems a bit humorous that the Knockouts are getting more attention than the men's tag division. Obviously TNA has seriously been paying attention to the fact that the Knockouts are the highest rated parts of TNA IMPACT.

I'm sure Vince McMahon will be none too pleased if this manages to seriously take off. The Knockouts have been seriously regrouping in getting the best of their Diva rivals. Now, every single Knockout is capable of becoming relevant and having something to do and compete for.
