The Colts Corner News and Updates (08/19/09)

  • CBSsports.com is reporting that Colts wide receiver Roy Hall has cleared waivers and has been placed on injured reserve.
  • The Colts have released offensive tackle Corey Hilliard, who has spent time on the Colts practice squad the last two seasons.
  • The Colts re-signed Tom Pestock, who was signed by the Colts as an undrafted free agent, and was released a couple of weeks ago.
  • Antoine Bethea, Kelvin Hayden, Robert Mathis, Jim Sorgi, Raheem Brock, Michael Coe, Gijon Robinson, and Tom Santi will not play tomorrow.
  • Bob Sanders is still on the PUP list, and will also not play on Thursday, and Marlin Jackson could also miss Thursday's action.
  • Walter Mendenhall was released after the Colts signed him. Mendenhall was released to make room for the Colts to re-sign Josh Thomas.
