BEIJING - AUGUST 24: (L-R) Kobe Bryant #10, LeBron James #6, Dwyane Wade #9 and Carmelo Anthony #15 of the United States hold up their medals after defeating Spain in the gold medal game during Day 16 of the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games at the Beijing Ol

This is part 2 in my series that shows what 3 players will be the best at their individual position. This slideshows shows who the 3 best shooting guards will be 5 years from now. This slideshow in particular could have some controversial picks. This list may or may not include Kobe Bryant or Dwayne Wade.

Brandon Roy

NEW ORLEANS - NOVEMBER 14: Brandon Roy #7 of the Portland Trail Blazers drives the ball around Chris Paul #3 of the New Orleans Hornets at the New Orleans Arena on November 14, 2008 in New Orleans, Louisiana. The Hornets defeated the Trail Blazers 87-8

This kid is already in my opinion a top 5 shooting guard in the league already. His game is very smooth. A great scorer, clutch player, franchise player, and a great locker room guy. He came in and changed a culture within the Portland Trailblazers. The sky is the limit for this 25 year old.

OJ Mayo

OAKLAND, CA - MARCH 30: O.J. Mayo #32 of the Memphis Grizzlies drives against the Golden State Warriors during an NBA game on March 30, 2009 at Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. NOTE TO USER: User expressly acknowledges and agrees that, by downloading

He is in my opinion one of the top 5 best young players in the league. He has a bright future ahead of him. He and Rudy Gay could become one of the elite scoring duo's in the NBA. He is a clutch player. He is a leader that is unafraid to take the last shot in a close game. He is already becoming a great scorer in the league despite his young age. He has become one the most lethal jumpshooters in the league despite the fact that he just came off of a stellar rookie season. Could become one of the leagues elite talents. (Just my opinion)

Kobe Bryant/ Dwayne Wade (tie)

PHOENIX - FEBRUARY 15: Dwyane Wade #3 of the Eastern Conference and Kobe Bryant #24 of the Western Conference go after a loose ball during the 58th NBA All-Star Game, part of 2009 NBA All-Star Weekend at US Airways Center on February 15, 2009 in Phoenix,

The reason why these two are tied is because I have no clue how good they will be 5 years from now. Dwayne Wade is the most injury prone superstar that I've ever seen besides Tracy McGrady. Whenever I watch ESPN during the NBA season I always see that he has a strained shoulder or something like that. I know I'm not alone. This makes me question how much more punishment his body can take before it gives out on him. Kobe Bryant on the other hand will be 36 years old 5 years from now. That is why they are tied for this spot.

Eric Gordon (Honorable Mention)

CHARLOTTE, NC - FEBRUARY 9: Eric Gordon #10 of the Los Angeles Clippers drives against the Charlotte Bobcats during the game at Time Warner Cable Arena on February 9, 2009 in Charlotte, North Carolina. NOTE TO USER: User expressly acknowledges and agrees

He came off of a stellar rookie season. I think that he could become a very good player in the league. I think that he was often looked over because, the team he played on was awful.
