World Football bleacher report

I have never been to a baseball game or American football for that matter. The football most of the world plays is more my cup of beer.

The name Bleacher report, "the open source", carries with it an idea of news and comments coming from the bleachers. Grassroot comments from the fans.

Anyone who has ever been to a football match in their life will tell you that the talk down there is not like "Oh..jolly good match this was today Jeeves. Yes, Frank, pity we got that penalty call against us...we should have a word with that Ref after the event over waffles and tea."

The comments that come out of a football match are colourful, to say the least. 30,000 coaches—all with their different opinions—all eager to share their views, at times in a not-so-civilised manner.

Shouting obscenities at players, the ref and each other is an integral part of it all. As long as no one is physically hurt then all is well.

This site however is far from that reality. Censorship of comments and articles is the way business is conducted. Exclusion of peoples thoughts and hard work is commonplace. Removal or relegation without notice or worthy reason happens all the time.

Tell me, who is to decide what is printable and what is not? Who has the moral authority to proclaim what is acceptable and what is not?

One thing is for sure. This should not be called the bleacher report. This should be called the snotty little nerds up in the VIP area...report.
