NFL, NFC East, Dallas Cowboys, Tony Romo, Terrell Owens, Satire

Recently, Tony Romo has blessed the people of Chicago with his beautiful singing of "Take me out to the ball game."

His singing was a reminder of another star, Rosanne, who sang "The Star Spangled Banner" in a way that made me ashamed to be an American.

You can tell during this offseason Tony has spent a lot of time training not on his football skills, but his vocal skills with girlfriend Jessica Simpson. We can only hope that Tony doesn't have so much spare time that he begins to work on an album.

Tony isn't the only Cowboy who is taking in the bright lights of Hollywood, though. Terrell Owens will guest-star on Flavor Flav's new sitcom on MyNetworkTV. Owens is preparing himself for his post-football career and is hoping to be taken seriously as an actor. Working with FLAVOR FLAV is definitely a start in the right direction.

If Owens were to make a movie, could you imagine how many times you would have to hear "get your popcorn ready."

These Dallas Cowboys' Hollywood careers need to be put to an end before they deafen us and blind us with their singing and acting.

  1. BYAAAAAAW!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. It's may first of all. Why can these football players do they're own thing once in a while when they have over 2 months before their first game. not only is it giving them some time off to clear their heads of the everyday headache of football that they live for 25 weeks of games, but also gives them some publicity. If Owens so desires to become a movie star after he retires from the NFL. Why is it such a big deal for him to kick start his career. Brett Favre starred in theres something about marry, no one made a big deal about that. In this sarcastic article obviously bashing Dallas, why be so negative towards Dallas when other players are doing even more than just being in one tv show episode, or singing one song. Jason Taylor just finally finished his stardom on "Dancing with the Stars." I personally think that just because they are football players first does not mean they should have to spend 365 days towards football. Give these guys a break. They worked all their life to get where they are. I highly doubt that spending a little time singing a song or playing a small role in a tv show for a day is going to hurt them towards their getting ready for their first game. I personally guarantee these guys will all be ready for they're first game.
