Debrah Miceli, who wrestled under the ring names Alundra Blayze and Madusa, will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the 2015 class.
The company announced the news Monday night:
After the then-WWF deactivated the women's title in 1990, Blayze helped revive the division three years later when she defeated Heidi Lee Morgan to capture the belt. She subsequently served as champion for nearly a year and had three separate title reigns between 1993 and 1995.
When she was released from her contract, she provided a unique moment in history when she showed up at WCW Monday Nitro and dropped her WWF title in the garbage.
One fan pointed out a particularly memorable match:
Under the name Madusa, she also won the AWA women's title in 1987 and the WCW Cruiserweight Championship in 1999, becoming the first female to win the latter.
Now a monster truck driver, Miceli will join "Macho Man" Randy Savage, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Rikishi and The Bushwhackers in the 2015 class.
