Did Tiger Woods Choke?

Tiger Woods had a 2 stroke lead heading into Sunday.

He was a perfect 14 for 14 in majors when entering the final day tied or leading.

Yesterday he lost the last major of the year by 3 strokes to Y.E. Yang, a relative nobody. Tiger shot a 3 over par 75 on Sunday and finished this year without winning a major.

Did Tiger choke?—uh no.

1) He looked exhausted. He's still recovering from his knee injury and is probably loosing some sleep and focus being a new dad.

2) Y.E. Yang played the best 2 rounds of his life. On Saturday he had the best day of everybody by shooting a 67. He followed that up with having the best day of everybody and shooting 70.

3) He missed putts. It happens sometimes things just don't go your way.

Tiger Woods had the worst round of his major career, putted terribly all weekend and still finished 2nd in a major. Tiger will now have a chip on his shoulder and a new more improved focus (if that's possible) on his game.

2010 will be year of the Tiger.
