Humor, Football, Super Bowl

Help me, sports fans! Football is played on Sundays; it is tradition. Therefore, never in a million years would I suggest moving the game to a Saturday night.

However, many people, including myself, dread going to work or school the next day.  With an estimated 97.5 million people watching the Super Bowl this year, it is safe to say there were plenty of tired souls dragging themselves out of bed to get to work the next day.

I propose an idea that the Monday after the Super Bowl should be a holiday.  While the calendar is already filled with many holidays, what is one more day?

This day could be used for big blow out sales too! Think of the benefit for the economy and an opportunity for you to sleep in.

  1. agreed, 100%

  2. Yah man, school the next day was tiring...ha I needed to by the Championship Hat too cause I am a Giants fan. I missed my first class.

  3. If you seriously are considering pursuing this...just get a hold of Arlen Spector. He seems to be very interested in all things NFL lately.
