The Indianapolis Star is reporting that Colts defensive tackle/defensive end Raheem Brock hurt his left hand in the Colts opening preseason game against the Vikings. Brock came to practice with a cast on his hand, wrist, and arm.

Brock started at defensive end last season, in an attempt to improve the Colts' run defense. Coach Jim Caldwell told reporters that Brock has a problem with his hand, and he is not sure how long Brock will be out.

The Colts other left end Robert Mathis was injured in the Vikings game also, but his injury looks less severe. Marcus Howard, Keyunta Dawson, and Eric Foster will likely get snaps at left end while Brock and Mathis are out.
