We all thought this would be the year for a younger, stronger team to dominate the playoffs, but the Spurs have once again shown why they have four World Championships.
It’s true that even NBA superstars who live in assisted living can make a playoff series unbelievably entertaining to watch. Accordingly, it’s amazing how someone with the lackluster of star potential can find himself entering such a star-struck marriage, and also find the time to concentrate on his game.
I mean, it’s the playoffs!
With the Spurs down 2-0 early in the second round, most people counted them out. But as we have come to understand, experience takes its toll again in the playoffs.
With the series now tied after an exciting and disastrous Game Six, the esteemed Spurs look to strike again, with the young Hornets backed into a corner. As the great Muhammad Ali once said "Float like a butterfly, sting like a bee." the Hornets need this mentality as Game Seven approaches in their nest.
After losing David West, who took 38 to the bank in Game Five, the Hornets will now have to rely on their leader, Chris Paul. Paul has put up some amazing statistics himself in the postseason, with a ridiculous 121 assists and only 18 turnovers!
I'm going out in the yard with a stick, but you can put money that my stick isn't going near any Hornets' nest, as that’s not a fun place to play if you want to savor the rest of your summer.

All things being equal, it'll be good for the NBA if the Hornets face off with the Lakers in the next round so the whole world can see first hand, probably for the very first time, how amazingly freekishly talented Chris Paul is. Nobody tunes in the for Spurs. The Spurs are like the film "No Country for Old Men" in more than one way, critically aclaimed, but nobody actually wants to see it.

I'm in much agreeance Will. The Spurs just don't have the energy they did early in there run for titles. I have to admit I was happy for the Admiral to get a title, but now it seems to be the same old borning game of the Spurs that keeps my eye focused elswhere while the NBA Playoffs take place. Yes Paul and Koby on center stage would be nice segway into the NBA Finals, I must concur.

you all simply not the spurs fans..if the spurs don't have energy? why the NO don't eliminate the spurs early in this series? they are down by 0-2 but what happen right now? 3-3? is that the team who don't have energy to play? or maybe the NO have lack of energy because were in game 7 now.. with 4 titles in 9 years? how can u say this team have no energy? beating the suns 4-1..and with shaq...how is that..i think you have not enough knowledge about NBA specially the good teams like the SPURS...your the one in a hundreds people who dont like SPURS to win but i am the one in a billions, trillions of people who is really like the SPURS to win because they are a true team..playing with a team with the bench unlike NO paul is only the scorer and playmaker...not west because he is on and off..

Jaylourd...You must be misconstrued with the article, as you are a Spurs fan. Much props the Spurs, don't get me wrong, they are a good team and I can't discredit them for their NBA Titles. Watching the Spurs, is almost has boring as watching your grass grow. Where is the excitement that they create? I know its easy for a fan to get excited, since its your team you are cheering on. Shaq is 36 years old and can barely run the court and wasn't the best move by the Suns, by any means. That's a whole different topic in itself. And yes West is on and off, but his numbers at home during the playoffs speak for themselves, averaging 26 a game to Paul's 23.... Paul is a point guard, he is supposed to be a play maker, that's his job...
