There’s an interesting story out of the U.K. that is related to Max Mosley’s attempt at gaining financial restitution from NotW for invasion of privacy for printing the nazi spank-fest video featuring Mosley and five prostitutes.
Actor Hugh Grant just won a U.K. court judgment for invasion of his, Liz Hurley and her husband Arun Nayar's privacy and accepted £58,000 in damages over photographs taken of them on holiday in the Maldives.
According to the BBC story the trio selected the islands strictly for the privacy and the seclusion the private resort claimed was available.
Two thoughts on this; 1. What the hell made these three think anywhere on the planet offered any type of seclusion when you're at their level of star status, and 2. Why isn’t the so called “private resort” held culpable? Looks from this distance they promised something they couldn’t deliver.
Anyway, I wonder what this says about "The Littlest Pervert’s" case against the NotW because of the obvious privacy connection in the two cases?
I suspect a lot, but I say that knowing little on the issue of privacy within the U.K. other than they are much stricter than most places on the planet
Regardless of the final outcome of Mosley’s suit it should have little to do with the FIA decision considering his actions since the the story first broke as he continued to lie out his posterior and spin faster than a frog in a blender.
Funny thing is Mosley could learn something from Grant.
Hugh Grant was the toast of Tinseltown until he was hit by a scandal after his encounter with a Hollywood prostitute in 1995, but now he has been embraced by U.S. audiences because of the stylish way he handled the issue.
Grant said on Larry King Live at the time, “I could accept some of the things that people have explained, ’stress,’ ‘pressure,’ ‘loneliness’ - that that was the reason. But that would be false. In the end you have to come clean and say ‘I did something dishonorable, shabby and goatish.’”
Mosley could learn something, but he’s too bull-headed, stubborn, drunk with the power his position affords him and just plain stupid.

It is to be hoped that the identities of those responsible and hidden behind the organized sting against Max will soon be revealed.
M15 cannot afford to suggest that they had no idea of their operatives involvement, even if it was as a bit of 'work on the side'.
They have already accepted his resignation, so they have admitted an involvement.
They cannot expect the British public to believe that they were unaware that this operatives wife was the one who organized the orgy, she was also the one who received tens of thousands of pounds from the News of the World.
M15 are far more intelligent than that and they vet all their operatives thoroughly in anycase.
A terrible reflection of British intelligence if they did not know.
The News of the World must also realize that they are going to lose big time in court to Max, so it is also in their interests to reveal those who are behind this criminal invasion of privacy designed to undermine one of the top people in sport.
Come on NOTW, you are always saying how important it is to tell the truth!!!!
I am sure the British public are waiting in eager anticipation for the truth to get out.
There are after all Billions involved in this case.
Monaco would be a great venue for such an expose.
Perhaps Martin Brundel could mention it on his grid walk?

They admit involvement because they accepted a resignation from someone that clearly violated MI5's rules? That's a pretty far leap in logic, got proof they knew?
"M15 are far more intelligent than that and they vet all their operatives thoroughly in anycase."
And the CIA vets all their operatives and they still have caught spys and various and sundry miscreants within their midst. You're grasping at straws.
"The News of the World must also realize that they are going to lose big time in court to Max, so it is also in their interests to reveal those who are behind this criminal invasion of privacy designed to undermine one of the top people in sport."
So, they lose, it won't be the first nor the last time they lose a privacy suit and in no way will require they to give up any sources if there are any.
Max Mosley one of the TOP people in the sport? Buwawahahahaha!
Nice joke, you trying out for Last Comic Standing?
You don't have to look no further than the 2005 U.S. Grand Prix to prove Max is a blithering idiot who needs to go (along with Bernie) regardless of this scandal.

The prostitute wife of the MI5 operative is the main mover in a well known two storey bondage house in Milton Keynes ol son.
If MI5 did not know that and were not involved with her other work setting up Al Quida suspect Arabs and others, then they should disband MI5 and bring in the Boy Scouts.
President of the FIA is probably THE highest position in Sport!
I see Bernie is having to write an explanation to the Presidents of all the World clubs, about the potential war with the FIA.
People should realise that if he is prepared to oppose the FIA then the only man capable of fending him off is Max.
The FIA is also not just F1, it is the main mover of all things automobile, including safety and world regulation. This is what under lies the current attack against Max.
There needs to be a major investigation to find the criminals responsible.

Spamming comments Keith?
Try having original thoughts each time you comment on various, although related articles. Your cut and paste routine is getting tiresome.

Frankly I could not care less how tiresome my posts are to you Marc.
The NOTW is now stumbling around frantically trying to find a way out using the Times as a crutch.
It is not going to work.
Monaco is going to be so interesting.
I hope MI5 are there. They know the truth.
After Monaco I think we can look forward to some more juicy stories on the movers and shakers of the FI paddock.
As I hear it, spanking is a common hobby in some teams.
I suppose it comes from being run by mechanics with dirty minds.

Don't bother with him, Keith. Marc gets his kicks out of trying to slam people he feels are threats to his writing prowess. he's not worth your time.
