After John Madden announced that he would not be coming back to Sunday Night Football, I was relieved.  No more listening to Madden blabber about random things that make no sense.  I didn't think that it would be possible to downgrade from Madden.  Then, NBC announced that Cris Collinsworth would join Al Michaels in the booth.  At first I thought it was a joke.  I had heard Collinsworth first on a Thursday night football game.  After the first quarter, I had to turn the volume of the television off and listen on the radio.  First of all, his voice is annoying to listen to.  Second of all, most of the broadcast, he is talking about his career in the NFL, which wasn't as spectacular as he makes it out to be.  After watching the Hall Of Fame Game, in which Michaels and Collinsworth broadcasted, I believe it will be a tough year for Sunday Night Football.
