A month ago when Commissioner Goodell lifted the suspension on Michael Vick I thought to myself "maybe the Eagles should try and pick him up?" I was actually excited! I thought it was perfect.  I wrote many blogs about it but was quickly shot down by all of the negative reponses. Many people said that they would protest - They would stop watching football and lose any or all respect for The Eagles. Some saying that I was an idiot for bringing it up and that Andy would never in a million years take Vick. Only 1 person said otherwise.

Well I'm happy to see that Andy Reid and the Philadelphia Eagles had the same thoughts on Vick as I did. I never thought of Vick replacing McNabb nor have I ever stated that he would. I simply thought he'd be a great "BACK UP" Someone to have "just incase" ( An addition to an already solid offence. A threat to help keep defensive coordinators up late at night. )

Michael Vick was in need of a second chance and still needs to get back into NFL Shape but I believe he can get there in Philadelphia. In fact I believe Philadelphia is the best opportunity for him. The Philadelphia Eagles are in my opinion the definition of the word "TEAM" Thanks to the coaching abilities of Mr. Reid. Add to that "Big Brother" Donovan McNabb and you have a solid ground for Vick to watch and learn how to be a LEADER. He's now in the best possition to get back on his feet.

Now that the Eagles have given Michael Vick a second chance it's all on Vick.

Good Luck Vick
