The Flyers refused to go down without a fight, with a hard fought 4-2 win in front of their home crowd.

They came out strong scoring 3 1st period goals, a number which they hadn't even scored throughout a hole game this serious. Pittsburgh made it close in the 3rd, but the Flyers hard work and physical play shook up the penguins and now they have a shot at making this series an interesting one.

To Sum up the game, The Flyers were just stronger, faster, and showed that they were ready from the start till the end. Martin Biron stayed stellar in goal, stopping 36 shots and only allowing 2.

The two teams were involved in several late game tussles, especially with young phenoms Sidney Crosby and Mike Richards.

On the other side of the ice, The Penguins came out in the opening period showing that they were not ready for the pumped up Flyers. They made poor offensive and defensive decisions and were not first to the puck at all. This was definitely their worst game of the post-season.

The two teams clash again on sunday with Pittsburgh playing the host this time around. The Penguins have another shot at making it to the cup for the first time in 16 years. But it will be a hard one for the Flyers, seeing as that Pittsburgh is a perfect 7-0 at home in the post-season.
