The Colts have yet to see Bob Sanders at practice this training camp. Sanders will be visiting with surgeon James Andrews in the upcoming days, to consult about his right knee. Sanders is on the PUP list.

The news could mean that Sanders will have more surgery, or Sanders is just asking about how ready he is for contact football. Other than Sanders, Sam Giguere and Adam Vinatieri are still on the PUP list.

Sanders has been replaced by Melvin Bullitt and Matt Giordano while he has been out. The Colts feel fine with their depth at safety, and would not likely sign a safety, were Sanders to stay on the PUP list for a while.
