Goalkeeper Hulk Hogan will be handed the No. 1 jersey after his big money transfer from WWE to Chicago Fire of the MLS.

Hogan completed his move to Toyota Park after passing his routine physical this morning.

Hogan submitted a transfer request to WWE owner Vince McMahon last month after becoming second-choice keeper to Andre the Giant.

The $10 million move is believed to be a world-record transfer fee for a washed-up professional wrestler turned football player.

"It's a really important step in my career. I'm very happy to be a part of this club and let's hope it all goes well," said Hogan at his unveiling with new gaffer Denis Hamlett.

"Hogan is definitely first-choice," Hamlett said when asked about choosing between Hogan and veteran Jon Busch.  "Jon is still recovering from an Atomic Leg Drop."

Hogan will most likely make his debut this coming Sunday against Eastern Conference rivals Kansas City.
