WKYC is reporting that the preseason game against the Lions on August 22 may be blacked out. The Browns are selling tickets for half price. But over on Stub Hub, you can get tickets to this game for only a couple dollars. It will be blacked out not only in Cleveland, but also in Columbus, Youngstown, and Dayton. I thought the blackout the local blackout policy is only 75 miles. Columbus and Dayton and more than 100 miles away.

This would be the first time since 1999 a Browns game would be blacked out. I always assumed preseason games never sold out. I hope this doesn't extend to the regular season. I do not think it will though.

In the past I have found tickets for sale on ticketmaster for regular season games the day before. So my question to you is do they have to sell a certain number or does every seat have to be bought so it is not blacked out?
