Can Craig Hartsburg be the next coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs?

Craig Hartsburg has shown he can work with kids, seeing that he has won two straight gold medals with the Canadian World Junior Squad. So why doesn't he get any recognition about being the next coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs?

Interim GM Cliff Fletcher has stated that the Maple Leafs are in rebuilding mode, and that might take around five years. So looking into things it fits a perfect resume.

Craig Hartsburg is smart, somewhat experienced, and has shown his aspiration to work with kids, and there will be a lot of kids around (according to Fletcher).

So you ask why hasn't anyone inquired about hiring Hartsburg? Well I don't honestly have an answer to that question. But I do think there is a chance of it happening. A very strong chance.

Hartsburg shows dedication, class, and winning ability at the international level, so shouldn't the Leafs at least give him a call?

I honestly think they will...but with Leafs management, you never know.
