Oh man. This is what we’ve been dreading the most this year as Jets fans.

Injuries.

Today, it was reported that New York Jets starting right tackle Damien Woody sustained an injury during the morning session and was taken off the field into the locker rooms by team doctor Ken Montgomery.

Woody was seen wearing a towel over his head and looking “a little out of it” causing speculation that he may have taken a shot to the head. Wayne Hunter took over at RT.

I hope this is nothing serious both for his sake and the sake of the team. Every report of an injury out of camp is painful in light of the much publicized lack of depth on the lines.
