For those of you haven't heard which is no one here, Anderson Silva put Forrest Griffin away in the first round after right about three minutes into the fight.

Anderson Silva is either the greatest mixed martial artist/boxer to step foot in an octagon or Forrest was having an off night. He made Griffin look bad, really, really, really bad.

His evasiveness in the ring makes him look very similar to a professional boxer. One has to wonder where does he go from here as a mixed martial artist. After dodging many of Griffin's shots ducking or backing out of them and taking him to the mat twice he finally knocked him down and out the third time.

Checking responses to the fight I've already seen people on Twitter and other messaging boards say it almost looked as if Griffin took a dive. I hardly think this was the case but it almost sounds seems to sound better than thinking how far and above Anderson Silva's talent is above the rest of the league. He truly does make other fighters look bad.

Dan Henderson's last outting with Silva ended in a submission and he did have a sucessful first round against him bringing him his only round loss in the UFC so maybe he can offer him a challenge in the next title shot match.

Good Luck Dan, I love ya' but you will need it.
