In the WWE, the top stars are getting overexposed and stale. How often can one see Randy Orton vs John Cena vs Triple H vs Batista vs Edge vs Vince?!!

Week after week, the same formula is recycled over and over, and the WWE audience knows it.

Listed here, in no particular order, are the top 5 wrestlers who I personally believe will be the future of WWE! Each one has the charisma, the look, and the talent to main event in the near future!

Of course, if creative comes to their senses!

Tyson Kidd

Tyson Kidd is someone who has tremendous potential. Being held as the last graduate of the infamous Dungeon, Tyson Kidd has skills that many will dream off.

He is a natural in the ring, from his technical mat wrestling, to his high flying arsenal. Yes, he may not be the overly muscular wrestler one sees (the Batistas, the John Cenas, etc.), but he overcomes his smaller frame with his talent.

Any match with Tyson Kidd is enjoyable and an actual wrestling match (those tend to still exist). He has the charisma to be a main eventer, always being vocal in the ring, and his constant smirk on his face. He’s a natural.

Plus, what better way to stand out than to wear a “crown”, and call yourself the “Prince of the WWE.”

Alicia Fox

Now, many of you readers may be thinking " What a horrible choice!" Now, Alicia Fox, or as she is sometimes is referred to, A. Fox, is a young and upcoming Diva who can hang in with the veterans.

Yes she isn’t as skilled as Gail Kim or Melina, but through time, she’ll be a force to be reckoned with. She has future champion written all over. What makes Alicia stand out is the fact that she is able to move around the ring quite well.

Her encounters with Gail Kim have been quite impressive, and Alicia has shown promise in keeping up with someone as skillful and agile as Gail.

Another thing that makes A. Fox stand out, is how she acts while in the ring. If one were to pay close attention, her facial expressions and vocal reactions are quite entertaining. One constantly hears her say “ouch,” “owww,” and what not.

Yes, they are small things to point out, but they add personality to a wrestler. She’s no Melina or Gail, but she’s definitely agile, athletic, and has the basics down, and through time, those skills will shine in greater magnitude.

Carlito

When it comes to talent, one cannot overlook Carlito. This is a guy who is impressive in the ring. The “Backstabber ”is one of the most brutal finishing moves in the WWE today, and each time it’s executed, it gets a rise out of the crowd.

Not many finishing moves draw such a crowd reaction (one would also argue the RKO, Widow’s Peak, and Shooting Star Press). Not many people are as versatile in the ring, as they are on the microphone.

How many wrestlers can one name that can pull off a standing huracanrana?! Carlito’s standing dropkicks are impressive, and he knows his way around the ropes.

He is a former Intercontinental and US Champion, which many believe is the step below a World Title, and these guys are often those who are the future World Champions.

There have been rumblings that Carlito at times has been unhappy with his role in the WWE, that he feels he is often held back. Vince talked him into staying a few years ago.

Can one really blame him, especially when the main event always has the same guys?

This guy oozes charisma, his cultural background adds more to his personality (speaking Spanish in his promos, hailing from the Caribbean, his Cabana, etc), and the apple-spitting gimmick is a fan favorite.

As his theme says, “I spit in the face of those who don’t want to be cool!”, and this guy is definitely cool! Plus, his fro only adds to his charisma. There aren’t many wrestlers whose hair add to their persona (besides Alicia Fox and Tyson Kidd).

I know it’s somewhat of an irrelevant detail, but it’s a small thing that makes a difference in affecting a wrestler’s personal, and Carlito is definitely one of them! Now that’s cool!

John Morrison

John Morrison, or as some may know him as, Johnny Nitro, is truly a star in the making! As a matter of fact, he is already a star.

As with Tyson Kidd, John Morrison isn’t the muscular wrestler WWE tends to favor, but he makes up in lack in size with his talent.

John Morrison started off in the tag team MNM, where the team went on to win tag team gold. Through time, it was clear Morrison was the star of the team, and started wrestling in singles competition, with real-life girlfriend Melina as his manager. He shortly won Intercontinental gold.

As many know, the Intercontinental Championship is normally given to those who have future potential to be World Champion. Morrison has had incredible matches, especially with the likes of Jeff Hardy. Their cage match at Unforgiven 2006 was incredible.

Morrison’s peak was when he was crowned the ECW Champion against CM Punk at Vengeance 2007 (Morrison was Chris Benoit’s replacement during the Benoit tragedy).

Flash forward to today, Morrison can put on an entertaining match like no other. His athleticism is unmatched, and the WWE fans know it. His arsenal is truly one of a kind, from flashy to awe inspiring.

Currently, Morrison is main eventing Smackdown, and is in the hunt for the world title. If WWE creative is smart, they’ll play their cards right, and will truly allow Morrison to reach the top of the WWE ladder.

Natalya

Words cannot describe the talent that Natalya has. Being part of the famous Hart family, wrestling was in her blood from the day she was born.

The minute she debuted, she instantly became arguably the most skilled wrestler on the roster, not just the most skilled diva but wrestler.

Having graduated from The Dungeon, Natalya is as tough as nails. Throughout her first year with the WWE, she has aligned herself with veteran diva Victoria, had a shot to be the first ever Diva’s Champion, and is now part of The Hart Dynasty.

Just looking at Natalya, one sees a star. One can make the argument she can make The Glamazon, Beth Phoenix, tap out in a match, or even pin her. Her clotheslines are powerful, yet swift.

She is full of charisma, from her trademark laugh, to her impressive wrestling skills, and her skills on the mic. She is someone that definitely has star power, and she deserves to be in the title picture.

Only time will tell what the future holds for the powerful Natayla. J.R. said it perfectly by stating, “Natalya by name, naughty by nature, she uses her Uncle Bret Hart’s sharpshooter expertly, a Diva with a dangerous DNA!”
