No, we're not kidding. ESPN reports that Feagin is in the process of completing the transfer, and could possibly play as early as this season.
We sincerely doubt Feagin is trying to "stick it to" his former team by transferring to App State. After all, we aren't playing them anytime in the next 100 years, and App State is truly a first rate D-II program.
The story sure makes a good headline, no?
We couldn't help but do a double-take when hearing about it. As long as our players don't start transferring to the likes of Toledo, Ball State, and virtually everyone else we lost to last year, we'll be okay.
It is unclear at this point exactly what position Feagin would play, but their explosive version of the spread offense would suit him well. Of course, we wish Justin luck, and thank him for his contributions last year.
