Michael Crabtree; Is It The About Money Or The QB?

If this kid is holding out strictly because the money; Michael Crabtree has to be the dumbest 21 year old in all of America right now. If hes upset about being picked with the 10th pick all he has to do is just suit up and excel, then look across the bay towards Oakland and tell Al Davise you screwed up!, However, I have my doubts about Crabtrees reasons for holding out.

The idea that he is asking for top draft pick money and he is the 10th pick in the draft is absurd! This kid needs to grow up seriously, he has a chance to play in the NFL, and become an instant millionaire, but instead he prefers to play the dumb roll.

Not only does he has a chance to shine on a team with a depleted receiving core, he is in a very lucrative market in the San Francisco Bay area, he also has a chance to train under the shadow of the greatest receiver there ever was JERRY RICE! Obviously, Michael Crabtree and his agent are so ungrateful to realize the opportunity he has being a part of the 49er organization.

If he goes back into the draft im sure he will end up like Maurice Clarett or Mike Williams did after they sat out a whole year, before entering the NFL. The type of league the NFL is, im sure that there will be a silent code of honor amongst GM's, not to select this kid until the 10th pick, just to make him feel stupid, and that will brand him as a jerk for the rest of his career. Defensive backs will be drooling to light him up across the middle as well. On the flip side, it may not be about the money! It may just be a ploy, because Michael Crabtree does have a valid reason to hold out.

He may not be impressed with the 49ers quarterback position. The 49er organization ended the season on a great note, however Mike Singletary is destined for failure along with the 49er organization, if they honestly believe they can turn this franchise around with Shaun Hill and Alex Smith as their potential starting quarterback.

It was a little mind boggling to see the 49ers draft a highly potential receiver with great hands and world class speed, who is destined to be a down field threat, without a QB who can throw the ball down the field. Shaun Hill and Alex Smith are not starting QB's in the NFL.

Shaun Hill nor Alex Smith have a strong enough arm to hit the target down field, regardless to what mechanisms Mike Singletary put in place in San Francisco, he will fail with poor quarterbacking.

If Michael Crabtree,is holding out, because he does not want to end up like Calvin Johnson, perfectly understood.

After drafting Crabtree, many people automatically assumed the 49ers would be in the hot pursuit of a QB this off-season, however the 49er front office is just like many other front offices in sports! A bunch of rich kids all grown up trying to live out fantasies through their daddy's connections.

So if this is really about the money, Crabtree should be ashamed, and he is an embarrassment to his family and community.  However, if this is about the 49er QB situation, Crabtree has a valid argument. The last thing he wants to be is like Calvin Johnson, scoring touchdowns and going 0-16!!!!!
