Going to keep it short because I'm growing impatient with the increasing multiples of tripe engrossing these pages. Having said that, some of you may wish to brand what I'm about to say as class A* Tripe—as bad as bad can be.

However looking at the odds for the 2009-10 outright top goalscorer there is one bet that's standing out to me like a sore fluorescent coloured thumb. You can receive odds of 33/1 for Eduardo Da Silva to be top goalscorer next season.

Now here we are talking about a man who scored 106 goals in 162 club appearances. Granted some most of these were in Croatia, but this man is a goal machine. He is doing it at international level too with 14 goals in 24 games.

The quality of his finishing has been seen on quite a few occasions in an Arsenal shirt, and he had really started to come to the fore before getting struck down by injury in 2008. Returning from injury last season he had a few games in the cups, scoring a quality goal at Burnley, and showing his predatory skills with a nicely placed header too.

This season I expect to see him as Arsenal's first choice striker. I firmly believe it is worth sticking a few quid on this man, because if he can stay fit watch him prove himself as one of the best strikers in the world.

At 33/1 you might be rubbing your hands come May next year.
