Deja Vu Trade, Raiders Send Star To Pats

D.J. O'ConnorSenior Analyst IIIAugust 7, 2009

Once again the Raiders are sending a former Pro-Bowl player to New England for a draft pick.  Sounds like the Randy Moss trade if you think about it.  Randy Moss and Derrick Burgess both have played in pro-bowls, they began to look injury-prone and there was a question of whether or not the player could perform.  For Moss the Raiders got a 4th round draft pick.  This time it is an undisclosed draft pick, so if Burgess can still play well then the Raiders won't get ripped off like they did with the Randy Moss trade.
