Carolina Panthers, Editorial, Preview/Prediction

I believe the Carolina Panthers will see a revival of their running game and a 12-4 season.

The return of Jake Delhomme will be important to the Panthers and I believe he will pass for 3900 yards and 29 touchdowns.

The defense should be much improved and will be led by Julius Peppers.  It's not unrealistic to believe Peppers will have 15 sacks by the end of the season.

  1. 10 or 11 wins prob more realistic i would like to see both backs get over 1000 yrds rushing this year that will help the defense alot i think they will win the south

  2. It all depends on Delhomme. If he can throw reasonably well downfield, defenses won't be able to put 8 or 9 in the box and that should allow the running game to excel. Hackett should make a big difference in opening up opportunities for Smith. Delhomme must be able to get the ball to him.
