Clayton Kershaw, LHP, Los Angeles Dodgers prospect

All you fantasy baseball owners out there need Clayton Kershaw on your radar.  A fresh 20 years old as of March, this lefty can hurl.  Sure, he's 0-3 down at AA Jacksonville, but that's not his fault.  His ERA is a paltry 1.08 and his K/9 are an impressive 9.99.

The Dodgers have been getting by with just 4 starters in their rotation, but come May 27th, they will have a need for a fifth-starter.  Don't be surprised if Kershaw gets the call.  If you have a high waiver priority in your league, and missed out on the likes of Edinson Volquez and Max Scherzer earlier in the season, now is the time to act and pick up an electric lefty, especially if you are playing in a keeper league.

With Esteban Loaiza and Jason Schmidt still on the DL, there is a good chance Clayton Kershaw will get a shot to sport the Dodger Blue and take the hill.  He may be shaky in his first couple of starts as he is only 20 years old, and his BB/9 is up around 3, but be patient, if this kid is in the league, you'll want him on your fantasy team.
