Good Thing We Didn't Get Crabtree

Shawn DieboldContributor IAugust 6, 2009

Al Davis and Tom Cable, these guys are smarter than people give them credit for.

There is a report that Michael Crabtree is now going to sit out the 2009 season and re-enter the draft in 2010. Good thing we didn't get that guy, maybe this now shows the so-called "experts" that Al isn't totally losing his mind.

Now, this is what ESPN says but if this is true then we have saved ourselves, not only by passing on Crabtree, but also picking his opposite.

Darrius Heyward Bey is much different from Crabtree, if you didn't know that already—he showed up and didn't whine. There are complaints about his hands, but he is working as hard as any rookie could and that is positive for the Raiders.

This is my first article and I thought I'd try to pump up the nation and punk Mel Kiper.

So thanks for reading and I hope I can provide some more articles for Raider Fans.

p.s. Mike Mitchell was scrutinized we'll see how that goes.
