OK, so the Big Ten has not been a stellar performer in BCS games the past few years.
The reputation is at a low point, so it's natural to see a reflection of that in the recruiting rankings. Once we get things turned around in the conference and start knocking off some top opponents, we'll be OK.
In the meantime, Penn State leads the way with five commits. OSU has four. MSU, Illinois, and Big Blue each have one.
Texas leads the way nationally with 10 commits, but isn't that the case every year?
No team has done less with more over the past 10 years than Texas.
