People always warn fans not to expect much out of rookie wide receivers, and there is some weight to this statement. Wide receiver is one of the toughest positions for rookies to pick up in the NFL. If you are relying on the production of a rookie wide receiver, you may end up sorely disappointed.
But that does not mean that wide receivers cannot have great rookie campaigns. In fact, over the past decade, more than a handful of receivers have excelled in their first taste of NFL action.
