Welcome to another edition of the six pack.

How'd you like Y.E. Yang paying out at 25:1 for a T5 last week and Michael Letzig paying out 8:1 for his T5?

I gotta tell you, my eyes were on Yang again this week, as he is simply playing top notch golf right now. My long shot will actually be someone else, so grab a seat and get comfy.

There's Vijay with his trophy from this event last year. Vijay is a decent pick this year, but since he won this event last year, I ain't takin him.

There are lots of interesting candidates to choose from this week, including a nice handful of Euros that may represent nicely this weekend.

Or, maybe they won't.

Tiger dominates this event with such a voraciousness I find it difficult to say he won't win this week. The good thing is if Tiger doesn't take the cake, our values are inflated with all the "other guys" which translates into more dollars for us, "the good guys."

My domination of Yahoo fantasy continues, even without using Tiger last week. I did drop a few notches, but nothing significant. Right now I have 4538 points on the season.

I really am confident with all of my fantasy AND my six pack picks this week, so if you haven't been paying attention, now is the time to start.

In Yahoo this week it looks like this:

GROUP A will have Jim Furyk(4) starting with the one and only Tiger Woods(3) backing him up.

GROUP B is going to see the always venerable Steve Stricker(5) and the red hot Lee Westwood(9) starting, whilst Davis Love III(3) and Hunter Mahan(5) back them up.

GROUP C will be represented by Retief Goosen,(3) and he will be backed up by the wily Swede, Henrik Stenson(7).

Howza 'bout we throw down a six pack?

No. 1 Jim Furyk

It strikes me as odd that a golfer as good as Jim Furyk has been unable to win an event since The Canadian Open in 2007.

That's almost exactly two years ago.

When you think of someone who is overdue for a win, you need not look further than this man right here.

Furyk has made 14 out of 16 cuts this year, and is currently fourth in scoring average at 69.51 strokes.

Jim is sixth in putts per round at 28.16 and can always get out of trouble; he ranks fifth in scrambling at 65.9 percent

Furyk has a couple of top ten finishes or better in his last five rounds, and the others were very respectable.

At 28:1 odds, Jim Furyk represents excellent value this week.

No. 2 Hunter Mahan

TURNBERRY, SCOTLAND - JULY 16: Hunter Mahan of USA tees off on the 12th hole during round one of the 138th Open Championship on the Ailsa Course, Turnberry Golf Club on July 16, 2009 in Turnberry, Scotland. (Photo by Stuart Franklin/Getty Images)

Ok, ok, ok...

I apologize for lifting this guy up so high before the British Open. You have to understand, it was very well deserved.

What you must also understand is I am a very forgiving person. Therefore, my favorite guy on tour, Hunter Mahan, will get a "pass" for his deplorable performance at the British Open.

Hey, Tiger missed the cut there too ya know.

Mahan's play just before the Open was nothing short of stellar, and I say he bounces back in a big way this weekend.

Mahan is a great driver of the golf ball, ranking 5th in total driving. That's probably why he is also 5th on tour in Par Breakers at 23.87% and 6th on tour in scoring average at 69.61 strokes per round.

Hunter is 33:1 odds to win this week, and I think he's a great selection.

No. 3 Anthony Kim

OAKVILLE, ONTARIO - JULY 26: Anthony Kim plays his second shot on the 10th hole during round three of the RBC Canadian Open at Glen Abbey Golf Club on July 26, 2009 in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. (Photo by Chris McGrath/Getty Images)

I'm very delighted to see this young man turning things around as of late.

If you asked me, I think his shoulder "issue" he had earlier in the year was a little more serious than anyone had led on. Now, Anthony looks more like his normal self going 16,11,third,cut, third in his last five events.

Kim is 2nd on tour in Par Breakers at 24.79%. He also is 16th on tour in putts per round with 28.35 and Anthony leads the PGA tour in birdie or better conversions with a green in regulation at 37.56 percent, proving he is more than capable of going very low.

I think A.K. represents tremendous value at 33:1 this week.

No. 4 Justin Leonard

TURNBERRY, SCOTLAND - JULY 18: Justin Leonard of USA tees off on the 4th hole during round three of the 138th Open Championship on the Ailsa Course, Turnberry Golf Club on July 18, 2009 in Turnberry, Scotland. (Photo by Andrew Redington/Getty Images)

I was surprised to see Justin pop up on my radar this week...until I looked at his very recent play. Justin has had a good '09 campaign, making 14 cuts in 19 attempts.

What I like most about Justin this week is that he is undervalued and over-performing. He had two cuts back-to-back five weeks ago, but since then has trended up nicely with a t34,t8,and t14 respectively.

Justin is a very accurate driver and ranks 19th on tour in accuracy hitting 69.12 percent of his fairways off the tee.

Leonard also ranks 13th in Par Breakers at 22.84 percent.

I recommend taking a shot with the "Justbuster", who pays out a pleasant 50:1 odds this week.

No. 5 Davis Love III

Another surprise shows up in my six pack.

I like to call him DL3.

Love has a fantastic track record at this event, and seems to always show up and contend here.

You may not realize it, but old man Love is one of the longest hitters on tour, ranking 14th in driving distance, with his average drive traveling 298.6 yards. Love is ranked 26th "all around" and is 30th in GIR% at 67.70 percent.

DL3 is a nice sneaky pick this week, and at 50:1, he pays out nicely too.

No. 6 Pat Perez

Now it's time for the long shot gas can special of the week...none other than PAT PEREZ!!!

He may have a spicy temper, but he is fun, and funny to watch. The thing is I think he has fully recovered from his ankle injury that he suffered a few months back when jogging with his dog.

He has gone 68, cut, cut after coming back from injury, but in his last two events, he appears to be feeling better, placing 30th and 24th. He is definitely trending up right now, and I think he will be a wonderful surprise in this event at Firestone.

Pat ranks ninth in eagles made with nine, and is 31st on tour with scoring average before the cut at 70.15 strokes. Perez also ranks 37th in par 3 birdies or better at 15.17 percent.

Take a flyer with Pat Perez. After all he is 125:1 odds!

Have a great weekend, and remember, if you need to get the ball high in the air, hit DOWN on it.
