Great news for Los Angeles Dodger fans who like to spend a summer evening under the stars! The Dodgers are offering a limited number of fans the chance to have a sleep over on the outfield grass at the stadium on Friday, August 14.
The event features watching the Dodger game in Arizona on DodgerVision, playing catch in the outfield, and a screening of Field Of Dreams, the iconic Kevin Costner film where the legends do come after he builds it.
The cost is $200 for adults and $100 for children. There is also a family package of $500 for two adults and two children available. A Dodger goodie bag is included in the price, along with dinner on Friday night and a buffet breakfast Saturday morning.
The Dodger game against the Diamondbacks will begin at 6:40 PM and will be followed by the movie shortly after it's conclusion. Fans are asked to bring their own sleeping bags, as tents will not be permitted inside Dodger Stadium.
To maximize the experience for Dodger fans, this event is limited to only 500 people. The first 200 who purchase their tickets will also receive a sleeved blanket. The deadline to enroll is August 10.
The Dodgers require that all children must be accompanied by an adult, with one adult per a maximum of three children in the party.

This program is part of DODGERLIFE, which was created this year to help bring Dodger fans closer to the team outside of the actual games. You might remember the fishing trip I wrote of last month, or batting practice back in June.
Fans have the chance to meet current and former Dodger players, participate in Dodger Fantasy Camps, or take a road trip with the team. These and more events are scheduled throughout the year as part of the DODGERLIFE program.
The Dodgers have just announced an additional bobblehead night, for Wednesday September 16, when the team will host the Pittsburgh Pirates in a 12:10 PM game.
The bobblehead depicts Manny waving to the fans after hitting his pinch-hit grand slam against the Cincinnati Reds on July 22.
The Dodgers have also put together a limited package where for $64, a fan will receive the first Manny bobblehead that was given out on July 22, a reserved level ticket for the Sept. 16 game against the Pirates, a ticket for the Aug. 23 game against the Chicago Cubs, a ticket for the Sept. 6 game versus the San Diego Padres, and a ticket for the Sept. 20 game when the villains who dress in Orange and Black travel down from San Francisco.
It is also possible to upgrade your seat location. Fans can sit in the lower Reserve for $80 and $120 will buy you Field Box seats. Tickets for four games and two Manny bobbleheads, this makes for quite the tasty package.
Tickets are available through the team website, calling 866-DODGERS, going to the Dodger Stadium Advance Ticket windows or at any Ticketmaster location.
