Chelsea's young Argentinian striker Franco Di Santo has moved to Blackburn in a loan deal that will keep him there until the January transfer window. Blackburn then have the option of further extending the loan and keeping Di Santo at Ewood Park untilthe end of the season.

This move will mark a positive for Chelsea and Di Santo who will hope to see more playing time as well as for Sam Allardyce, who is in the search for a new striker after Roque Santa Cruz moved to Manchester City.
