Union Berlin 0 - Werder Bremen 5 (DFB Pokal, August 2, 2009) Bremen had no problems seeing off second division side Union Berlin with both Boubacar Sanogo and new summer signing Marcelo Moreno grabbing a brace. Naldo scored the other goal for Thomas Schaaf’s men.
