Formula One is sliding off it's peak and FIA's predicament to stop it only resulted in more chaos than cure. Fans and businesses worldwide knew Formula One is ailing and the prescriptions concocted by Dr. Max Mosley were merely first aid meant to prolong the agony then cure.

The unexpected declaration of Michael Schumacher's participation in this season's the remaining races is sheer euphoria to many. The five years before his retirement were dominated by Ferrari and himself and there were no real challengers except pretenders over the horizon.

Max Mosley was doing his tuck and snip with rules and regulations to restrict Ferrari's superiority and to strengthen other teams.

He misunderstood that a weakened Ferrari and a disillusioned Schumacher would made FIA's TV ratings and profit soaring. Every new technical regulations and race rules were made to prevent Ferrari/Schumacher from winning.

The recent upheaval and animosity between FIA and FOTA was the result of years of regulatory abused by FIA.

Many like me stop watching Formula One races without Michael Schumacher, it's like Golf without Tiger Woods, Tennis with Roger Ferderer and MotoGP without Valentino Rossi.

World Chamipionships should be won by the best athletes and not pretenders.

Whether Michael Schumacher win any of the remaining race is insignificant but his participation will excite and bring back the glorious days of Formula One racing because he is the catalyst to the effervescent of Formula One.
